Amishi P. Jha, author of the forthcoming book Peak Mind (HarperOne, October 2021), is a professor of psychology at the University of Miami, where she serves as director of contemplative neuroscience for the Mindfulness Research and Practice Initiative. Her research investigates the neural bases of attention, resilience and mindfulness.
